Tips

  • Do NOT trust anything - take detailed notes of each conversation, and follow up with an email outlining the conversation.

  • Request to record conversations

  • Stay vigilant - they are counting on you giving up. Never give up. Never surrender!

  • Don't be rude, but be firm.

  • Save all documents (receipts, warranties, repair orders, repair receipts, etc.)

  • Keep the stupid fridge if possible

  • Class actions aren't the magic solution - in my opinion - they are time consuming, expensive, and usually disappointing. I wouldn't recommend hanging your hat on that solution.
